Camera Collage
This camera collage focused primarily on the different kind of camera shots including low angle, canted angle, extreme close up, mid shot, long shot, birds eye view, high angle, over-the-shoulder shot, two shot, close up and point of view shot. Each of these shots are extremely essential as they benefit media in several different ways. While my object remains in the same spot, the objective was for the camera shots or angles to portray a different effect to the audience. Low angle shots create a sense of power or dominance compared to high angle shots which presents the characters to look bigger, open to interpretation. Close up shots shows strong emotions and extreme close up shots focuses on the character, representing importance. The mid shot emphasizes both actor and environments, creating a functional scene while a long shot strictly focuses on the setting or where the action is taking place. A canted angle demonstrates an uneasy feeling and a POV shot is to show the characters perspective. Last but not least, an over the shoulder shot captures the perspective of the subjects view when the camera is placed behind. Lastly, a two shot portrays emotions between two characters. In this case, my character is Dr. Pepper. I struggled to take some of the shots as it was not like Dr. Pepper could portray emotion, so I strictly focused on getting the correct angles and shots.
